WHAT: The Mockingbird Society’s Youth Advocacy Day rally

WHERE: Olympia, WA – North Steps of the Capitol Building

WHEN: Friday, February 10, 2017, from 12:00 – 12:30

Legislators will be available immediately after the rally to answer questions.

WHY: All kids deserve a fair deal in Olympia to help them thrive at home and in life. This rally is an opportunity for young people who have experienced homelessness or been involved in the foster care system to hear from legislators about the impact of youth on the advocacy process. Legislators will be speaking about the policies and funding that can help reimagine our foster care system and ensure that everyone has a safe, stable place to call home.
