Homeowners facing foreclosure will gain increased protection in their dealings with lenders under a bill by Rep. Mia Gregerson that was signed into law March 31 by Gov. Inslee. Rep. Gregerson urges eligible individuals to sign up for health insurance under the Affordable Care Act by the March 31 deadline

Seattle & King County is coordinating more than two dozen enrollment events this week, which will be staffed by local organizations with certified “In-Person Assisters” for the Washington Healthplanfinder. Rep. Gregerson joins in call for $15 minimum wage at airport

Rep. Gregerson has added her name to those of a large number of public officials calling on the Port of Seattle to implement a $15 minimum wage at SeaTac International Airport, which is operated by the port. SeaTac voters approved the citywide minimum wage by ratifying Proposition 1 in November, but the port has been excluded from its effect. Here is the officials’ letter to the port commissioners:
