As Washington state faces another long dry summer and we spend hundreds of millions of tax dollars fighting wildfires, we cannot risk additional wildfires caused by reckless and explosive target shooting.
It is imperative that we protect our resources and ensure public safety, while at the same time still allow safe target shooting and hunting to take place. Our state and national parks and forests are for everyone to enjoy, and we cannot let them become a contaminated wasteland, or worse, be destroyed by unnecessary human-caused fires.
Together, we all need to work towards a solution to protect our resources for future generations.
