Biography
PERSONAL:
I moved to Maury Island resident in 1994 have lived on the island ever
since. I am married to John and we have two grown daughters and a
12-year-old standard poodle, Tyler.
EDUCATION:
BA, Psychology, Summa Cum Laude Whitman College 1973
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
Chief of Staff – Metropolitan King County Councilmember Dow Constantine
11 years in the finance industry, working my way up from night data
entry clerk, to vice-president.
PUBLIC SERVICE:
Founding president of Preserve Our Islands, a non-profit organization
dedicated to protecting the environment.
Served on the Governor’s Task Force on On-Site Sewage as a
representative for consumers.
