Dear Friends:

I am honored to serve as the State Representative from the 33rd District. I strive to take a balanced approach that puts our community’s needs ahead of partisan politics.

One of our most pressing needs remains the need to create and keep good jobs in our community.   

To get this done, we must focus on:

• Improving our education system by investing in our schools and colleges
   
• Making health care more affordable for individuals, families, seniors and businesses
   
• Reducing traffic congestion in South King County to more efficiently move goods and people

As Chair of the House Ecology and Parks committee, I recognize that our beautiful environment in the Pacific Northwest is key to attracting and retaining businesses and employees.  In order to have good jobs and a strong economy, we need to keep Washington a great place to live.
