Problem with your health care application? No problem at all.

As expected, the Washington Healthplanfinder website experienced a heavy influx of activity in the days leading up to the March 31st deadline for open enrollment in health care plans. This high level of traffic, both on the website and at the call centers, caused a few technical problems that may have interfered with the ability to complete the application on-time. One month of Obamacare: 140,000 have signed-up for health care

​It’s been just over a month since our state’s health insurance marketplace, Washington Healthplanfinder, officially got up-and-running. While hiccups at the national level have grabbed the majority of headlines, Healthplanfinder is quietly helping thousands of Washingtonians access affordable, quality health care for the very first time. According to the Puget Sound Business Journal, almost 49,000 people have enrolled since the beginning of October.
