This week, many of you will receive our 36th District 2026 Legislative Report in your mailbox. Sen. Frame, Rep. Reed, and I shared highlights of the past legislative session, including challenges from the federal government, passage of the Millionaires Tax, and funding for key local projects like safety improvements on Aurora Avenue and restoring public access to the Pacific Science Center courtyard. Town Hall Success!

Thank you to everyone who was able to attend our virtual town hall on Monday night. There were a lot of questions, from data centers and a state bank to funding for public schools and universities. I appreciated the chance to share my thoughts and more on the work we did in Olympia on your behalf.

Restrictions on Communications During An Election Year

State Ethics law put certain restrictions on legislator communications to prevent the use of state resources for election purposes every election year. These restrictions include a freeze on my legislative Facebook page and my legislative webpage beginning Monday, May 4, 2026, until after the general election in November.
