Students on visas must take in-person college classes or risk deportation, ICE says
ICE’s Student and Exchange Visitor Program won’t let students into the U.S. if they are going to schools that offer online classes only, according to a news release. Instead, foreign students must take in-person classes if they wish to remain in the U.S. — otherwise, they must take the online classes out of the country or risk deportation if they stay. It’s the law: No mask, no service begins today across Washington
Businesses across the state won’t be allowed to serve customers who aren’t wearing a facial covering starting Tuesday, July 7. Some say it will make it easier to enforce mask policies they already have in place. “This is not an optional plan for businesses,” Gov. Tacoma Mayor Victoria Woodards has joined 11 other mayors from around the country to pledge support for a guaranteed income program.
