Governor signs Hansen’s first-in-nation net neutrality bill into law

Governor Inslee signed HB 2282 into law this afternoon, protecting a free and open internet for Washington consumers. Rep. Drew Hansen (D-Bainbridge Island), the bill’s prime sponsor, was there for the bill signing ceremony.
Washington is the first state in the nation to pass net neutrality protections into law. Read more here.
