MEDIA ADVISORY: Telephone town hall with Reps. Springer and Goodman

Who: State Reps. Roger Goodman and Larry Springer (45th Legislative District).

What: Legislative telephone town hall meeting.

When: 6 – 7 p.m. Wednesday, February 8.

Why: To share the news from Olympia with constituents and answer their questions about the current legislative session.

Additional:  Reps. Larry Springer and Roger Goodman represent Washington’s 45th legislative district, a diverse King County district that includes Woodinville and Duvall, and significant parts of Kirkland, Redmond, and Sammamish.

Their telephone town hall comes one month into the 105-day 2017 legislative session, and provides constituents the chance to make their voices heard on issues ranging from education funding, healthcare, and public safety to transportation, the economy, and the all-important state operating budget, which is currently being crafted.

At a few minutes till 6 p.m., calls will go out to thousands of homes throughout the district, offering constituents the opportunity to listen live, or to speak with their representatives.  Those who don’t receive a call, or who are not near their home phones, can participating by calling 877-229-8493 toll-free and entering the ID code 116922.
