Rep. Jake Fey updates constituents on the work he has done on the Transportation Committee. He also talks about the disappointment that the Senate won’t be taking up the job-creating transportation package this year.


Rep. Jake Fey updates his constituents about the work he is doing for education in Washington state. Specifically, Rep. Fey discusses the passing of the Dream Act and what the McCleary decision means for Washington lawmakers. He is joined by intern My-Le Tang and page Cecilia Lovelady.

Senator Jeannie Darneille, and Representatives Jake Fey and Laurie Jinkins joined scores of 27th Legislative District citizens in a Town Hall meeting at Jason Lee Middle School on a recent Saturday morning. Discussions touched a good variety of issues and concerns. The three 27th District legislators are also looking forward to a telephone Town Hall meeting Wednesday night, April 10. We'll share more details in the weeks ahead.

It was wonderful to welcome a good many Tacoma and Pierce County members of the Washington State Dental Association for their recent visit to our state capital. These very involved men and women are a terrific example of what it means to take an active citizen hand in the state-legislative process.
