Having struck compromise gold on a supplemental operating budget and some other
prickly issues, the 2014 Legislature adjourned on time last week.
State Rep. June Robinson is happily back home in the 38th Legislative District now. She’s getting reacquainted with family and friends, not to mention revisiting sights and sounds in Everett, Marysville, and Tulalip.
Robinson and her legislative assistant, Jordan Smith, have already opened a district office in Everett City Hall. The address is 2930 Wetmore Avenue, Suite 9C-2, Everett WA 98201. Their phone number is 425-258-4215. The hours are 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Thursday. Robinson said she’s looking forward to meeting with as many citizens and community groups as possible.
“I’m honored to represent and live among folks who make their homes in our communities,” she said. “Olympia is an interesting enough town to visit, but Snohomish County, happily, is my real world.”
Robinson and her two Democratic colleagues in the 38th District delegation — state Sen. John McCoy and state Rep. Mike Sells — will soon produce a legislative newsletter to report on this year’s session.
