House Democrats met in Olympia today to approve changes to committee assignments. Those changes are listed below.
- Representative Appleton is appointed as a second Vice Chair of Public Safety
- Representative Chopp is appointed to Appropriations and Health Care & Wellness
- Representative Duerr is appointed to Local Government as Vice Chair, to Consumer Protection & Business and Transportation
- Speaker-designate Jinkins is removed from Appropriations, Civil Rights & Judiciary and Health Care & Wellness
- Representative Kilduff is appointed Chair of Civil Rights & Judiciary and to Appropriations, and removed from Education and Rules
- Representative Pellicciotti is appointed to Capital Budget (effective January 13, 2020) and removed from Transportation
- Representative Peterson is appointed Chair of Commerce & Gaming and to Civil Rights & Judiciary, and removed from Environment & Energy and Local Government, and as Vice Chair of Capital Budget
- Representative Robinson is appointed to Environment & Energy
