10 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine administered in Washington
More than 10 million doses of the COVID-19 have been administered in Washington since last December, the Department of Health announced Monday. As of Nov. 8, 79.6% of Washington residents 12 and older have received at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccine and 73.5% of people 12 and older are fully vaccinated. The state began administering the first COVID-19 vaccines back in mid-December 2020. Continue reading at KIRO 7.

The American Rescue Plan signed into law by President Joe Biden back in March sent a lot of money directly to the American people. It immediately sent at $1,400 payment to most Americans, after two other payments of $1,200 and $600. It also added other ways for people to get much-needed cash. ‘We cannot rest.’ Low Latino COVID vaccine rates in Tri-Cities a worry
The Tri-Cities area has seen a substantial increase in the percentage of Hispanic residents vaccinated against COVID-19 since June, but rates locally and in the state continue to be too low, according to a new policy brief…The low rate is of particular concern because the Hispanic population across the state has been hit harder by COVID-19 than both non-Hispanic whites and also the state’s population as a whole.
