I applaud the decision handed down this week by the court that upheld the Affordable Care Act.

This decision means we can finally move forward with ensuring everyone has access to the health care they need.

Washington consumers are already benefiting fromreforms under the ACA such as health coverage of adult children to age 26, no more lifetime limits on health benefits and no co-pays for preventive health care.

We’ve also benefited greatly from more ACA funding of public health and community health centers.

This week’s ruling means consumers will continue receiving rebates from their insurance companies and small businesses will continue receiving tax credits to help pay the premiums for their employees.

This is a major victory for building a better and healthier country.
