First elected in 2012, Representative Jessyn Farrell represents the citizens of the 46th district, which includes Kenmore, Lake Forest Park, and parts of North Seattle. As a legislator, Jessyn serves as Vice Chair of the Transportation Committee. She also serves on the Environment and Rules committees.
Jessyn is an attorney with a focus on mediation, and her past professional experience includes working as the Executive Director of Transportation Choices Coalition, an organization dedicated to expanding bus, rail, bicycle and pedestrian transportation options. Jessyn grew up in the Seattle’s Lake City neighborhood and Lake Forest Park, attending local public schools, the University of Washington and Boston College Law School. As a mother of three young children, she is passionate about Washington’s education system and will advocate strongly for fully funding our kids’ education system, from early learning through higher education.
