Rep. Kilduff to host two town halls

Telephone town hall Thursday, Feb. 18; old-fashioned town hall Saturday, Feb. 20

OLYMPIA–Citizens will get a chance to ask questions and offer ideas in two hall meetings hosted by Rep. Christine Kilduff (D-University Place).

“It’s important to hear directly from the people of the 28th District,” Kilduff said. “Everybody is dealing with the same problems. We need to create more good jobs, tackle traffic on I-5 and fix our state’s broken mental health system.”

Kilduff will hold a telephone town hall on Thursday, Feb. 18 starting at 5:30 p.m. Most residents of the 28th District will get a phone call at that time. If you don’t, or want to call in, the toll-free number is 877-229-8493 and the access code is 19530.

She will also host a traditional town hall meeting, in person, on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 11:30 at West Pierce Firefighters Hall, 7125 Steilacoom Blvd. SW, Lakewood.

“These town halls are about listening and working together to find common-sense solutions,” Kilduff said. “The best ideas often come from people who deal with these issues every day.”
