Spokane’s 3rd District legislative team is excited to announce the creation of their mobile office this fall at various locations around the district. The mobile office is open to the public.
Sen. Lisa Brown and Reps. Timm Ormsby and Andy Billig encourage constituents of the 3rd Legislative District to take full advantage of the mobile office and bring their questions about state government, ideas for legislation, or other feedback or inquiries. At least two of the district’s legislators will be at each mobile office.
The mobile office affords residents who can’t visit the legislators’ Spokane or Olympia offices an additional opportunity to meet and speak directly with them.
“When I became a state representative, one of my main goals was to make state government more accessible,” said Rep. Billig. “By setting up a mobile office in Spokane neighborhoods, we’re able to interact more directly with citizens.”
The three legislators look forward to discussing and sharing ideas with constituents as they head into a special session this fall and begin developing bills for the 2012 legislative session.
