Several key tenant protection bills — including ones to end no-cause evictions, require payment plans, and guarantee every poor tenant facing eviction a lawyer — have passed their houses of origin. Death with dignity act may undergo its first major change in Washington state
The Washington State Legislature is considering the first significant changes to the Death with Dignity Act more than a decade after voters approved the law. The act, approved as Initiative 1000, allowed certain terminally ill patients to receive a lethal prescription of drugs so that they could end their own lives. Continue reading at KUOW. (Ted S.
