Dropping bills into the Hopper: two Bergquist bills help voters

Rep. Steve Bergquist put his first two pieces of legislation into the Hopper at the Code Reviser's Office. House Bill 1278 and House Bill 1279 would make it easier for citizens to vote, with HB 1278 making it free for voters to send their mail-in ballot and HB 1279 allowing 16- and 17-year-olds to preregister to vote when they apply for their driver's license.
