Local state Reps. Hudgins and Hasegawa invite you join in Tele-Town Hall

Focus will be on the recently concluded 2010 Legislative Session

Olympia – State representatives Zack Hudgins ( D – Tukwila) and Bob Hasegawa (D – Seattle) invite residents of the 11th Legislative District to join them for a telephone town hall next Tuesday, April 27, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

The tele-town hall will begin with a call from the two local representatives going out to registered voters in the 11th District, which includes South Seattle, Burien, Sea-Tac, Tukwila, and southern Renton. Legislators have found the tele-town halls to be an effective and inexpensive way to reach thousands of constituents and hear directly from them their questions and concerns. Reps. Hudgins and Hasegawa will discuss the 2010 legislative session, creating jobs, their priorities for the 2010 state budget, and its impact on local communities

The call Tuesday evening will invite residents to stay on the line and join in on the conversation. For others who are interested in participating, you can also phone in directly between 6:00-7:00 p.m. by dialing toll-free (877) 229-8493 code: 15512.
