OLYMPIA – The public and members of the media are invited to attend legislative town halls hosted by state Representatives Steve Tharinger and Kevin Van De Wege on February 17 and 18 in Forks, Quilcene, and Port Angeles.
Both legislators represent the 24th Legislative District in the state House of Representatives. The district encompasses all of Clallam and Jefferson counties and parts of Grays Harbor County. Tharinger and Van De Wege jointly hosted a town hall meeting on February 1 in Grays Harbor.
These town halls are an opportunity for constituents to meet with the representatives and ask questions about legislative issues or share their concerns. The events are informal, and will mostly be conducted in question-and-answer format.
