Washington State Park Ranger Ed Johanson was killed in a head-on vehicle collision on Friday in Kitsap County. Following is a statement by Rep. Kathy Haigh and Rep. Fred Finn from the 35th Legislative District.
“Our hearts go out to the family and friends of Ed Johanson. Mr. Johanson, a Washington State Park Ranger, was tragically killed in a head-on collision Friday night while on his way home from work. He was a dedicated public servant who spent nearly 20 years helping the public enjoy the Kitsap Memorial State Park near Seabeck and, most recently, the Kanaskat Palmer State Park. Our deepest condolences and sympathies are with his family.”
