Dear 46th District constituents,
I decided not to seek another term in the Washington State House of Representatives. My 16th year will conclude on January 13, 2013. But there is one thing I must do before my term in the legislature officially comes to an end.
I need to thank you.
Thank you to the wonderful people I met in my 16 years serving North Seattle and the state. I am humbled by your passion and dedication to help me improve the quality of life for Washington families, develop policies to grow our economy, increase access to education for thousands of students, and make health care more affordable for low-income families. Your active participation and support have been crucial to me every step of the way in this great journey.
I am honored that you placed your trust in me to represent your interests and feel truly fortunate to have served you. I look forward to continue working with you in our community on issues that matter to all of us.
