First-term Rep. Cyrus Habib was the subject of a video report that aired Jan. 28 on KOMO 4 TV. The report highlighted a couple of distinctions Habib can claim: first Iranian-American state official in the United States, and first blind legislator in Washington in probably 100 years. It also offered a sample of his skill at what might be called speed listening.
