Mayor Baker and I hope to see you all Saturday morning, February 9, in Kenmore

The next Traveling Town Hall is 10 o’clock Saturday morning at Espresso Works, which is located at 6734 Northeast 181st Street in Kenmore. I’m very grateful that Kenmore Mayor David Baker is joining me for this edition of our new “flash Town Hall” tradition!

These 46th District meetings stem from my past experience, as many of you know, organizing carpools of parents and others into a three-hour to four-hour weekday excursion to Olympia — for just a few minutes of face time with legislators. Our Traveling Town Halls during the legislative session allow me to meet with folks most every Saturday morning from 10 to noon at various locations around the district. So that makes it an in-district meeting, instead of a trek to Olympia.

We engage in spirited discussions on statewide issues, such as potential reforms in the revenue system, funding for education, and reducing gun-violence.

Hope to see you — if not February 9, then very soon after!
