The next Traveling Town Hall is 10 o’clock Saturday morning, Feb. 16, at Kaffeeklatsch — which is located at 12513 Lake City Way N.E., Suite H, in Lake City Square. I’m looking very forward to seeing you for this latest edition of our new “flash Town Hall” tradition!
These 46th District meetings stem from my past experience, as many of you know, organizing carpools of parents and others into a three-hour to four-hour weekday excursion to Olympia — for just a few minutes of face time with legislators. Our Traveling Town Halls during the legislative session allow me to meet with folks most every Saturday at various locations around the district. It’s very nice to have this in-district meeting, instead of a trek to Olympia! We engage in spirited discussions on local and statewide issues, such as potential reforms in the revenue system, funding for education, and reducing gun-violence.
