Citizens invited to town halls with Rep. Dunshee

Rep. Hans Dunshee will host two town hall meetings in the 44th District on Saturday, March 16.

“I love having these town hall meetings, so I can hear the thoughts and concerns of the folks I represent,” said Dunshee. “I am the most effective down here in Olympia when I know what my friends and neighbors from my district are thinking.”

Bolstering our state’s economy and keeping out community strong are Dunshee’s top goals for this legislative session.

“We need to create a budget that tackles many issues, not just focus on one. We can’t just fund one area and ignore others. A kid doesn’t learn if he or she doesn’t have a place to come home to at night or food in their belly during the day. Let’s work together to keep our community a great place to live and work.”

The House of Representatives is in the middle of the legislative session, which started in January.

Here are the details of the town halls:

Mill Creek
10 a.m. to noon
Mill Creek City Hall
15728 Main Street

Lake Stevens
1 to 3 p.m.
Lake Stevens Fire Department Station 82 Conference Room
9811 Chapel Hill Road

“I hope you can make one of the town halls,” Dunshee said. “If you can’t be there, please contact me by email, phone or regular mail to give me your comments, questions or ideas.”
