How you can save water and money this summer

Water is kind of a big deal in Washington state – it powers our dams, feeds our crops and keeps the Evergreen state green.

With climate change and extreme weather, conserving water during the summer is more important than ever.

There’s also an angle for taxpayers: water, wastewater treatment and irrigation projects are a big part of our state’s construction budget, so anything that conserves water also saves taxpayer dollars.
