Everett, Marysville, and Tulalip citizens should mark their calendars for a “Coffee Hour and a Half” conversation Saturday morning, Feb. 22, with state Rep. Mike Sells and state Rep. June Robinson. The two lawmakers are hosting the meeting from 10 to 11:30 that morning at the Marysville Library.
Sells and Robinson represent the 38th Legislative District in the Washington State Legislature.
The Legislature is just north of halfway for the 60-day, 2014 legislative session. Sells and Robinson want to meet with citizens to review what’s been happening in Olympia thus far.
Of course, this “Coffee Hour and a Half” isn’t the only way citizens can make sure their comments get to the attention of their legislators. People who want to send a message to lawmakers can always call this toll-free number, 1-800-562-6000, or this one, 1-800-635-9993 (for hearing-impaired citizens).
