Rep. McBride is well on her way to becoming an effective legislator. Her constituents have told her that protecting our environment is one of their top priorities. So last week, Rep. McBride “dropped” her first bill, HB 1378. The bill boasts 22 Democrat and Republican co-sponsors. The new legislation will protect fish and clean up our waterways. Currently, many cosmetics contain tiny plastic micro beads that leech into our environment. Rep. McBride’s new bill, which has broad industry support, will ban these beads. Way to go, Rep. McBride!
