OLYMPIA – Both Democratic and Republican education funding plans will be heard at 3:30 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 6, in the House Appropriations Committee.
Hearing the Senate Republican plan, SSB 5607, and the House and Senate Democratic plan, HB 1843, at the same time is somewhat unusual, but will allow the public a chance to directly compare and comment on the proposals. House Republicans have not released a plan.
The House Appropriations Committee meets in House Hearing Room A, located in the John L. O’Brien Building on the Capitol campus in Olympia.
