Opening Session Ceremonies

Monday, January 13, 2020

The House will be called to order at noon on Monday, January 13, 2020 by Acting Speaker John Lovick. Members will enter the chamber and take their seats for roll call. Justice Mary Fairhurst will be escorted to the rostrum and there will be a Presentation of Flags, Pledge of Allegiance, and prayer.

Election of the Speaker, Speaker Pro Tem, and Deputy Speaker Pro Tem will occur, along with the oath of office, and remarks from the Speaker of the House and the Minority Leader.
