“Dreamers have fought so hard for justice. For the second time, a court has ordered the administration to resume processing DACA applications. It’s time to do the right thing,” Jennifer Molina, a spokesperson for President-elect Joe Biden’s transition team, said Friday. “On day one, President-elect Biden will ensure Dreamers and their families have the opportunity to live their lives free of fear and continue to contribute to our country.” Continue reading at The Yakima Herald. More than 1 million Washington state residents activate COVID-19 notification app
Smartphones are coming in clutch, once again. The device you use to order Christmas presents and watch TV shows can now be notified of possible exposure to COVID-19. The Washington State Department of Health announced that in just four days, more than 1 million users activated WA Notify, an anonymous exposure notification tool that uses smartphones to help stop the spread of COVID-19.
