Unvaccinated hospitalizations cost US health system $2.3 billion in June & July
Analysts say hospitalizing unvaccinated people is costing the U.S. health system billions of dollars. A Kaiser Family Foundation report found the average cost of a COVID-19 hospitalization is around $20,000. Immunocompromised? Here’s how to get a third COVID vaccine dose in Washington state
People with moderately or severely compromised immune systems qualify for a third dose of a COVID-19 vaccine. Earlier this month, the state Department of Health officially recommended an additional dose for certain immunocompromised people.
