Currently, Washington state has about 148 dual language schools across 40 school districts. In March, Gov. Jay Inslee signed House Bill 1228. The law provides grants to school districts and state-tribal schools to expand dual language programs statewide. Continue reading at NW Public Radio. (Jacob Ford)
