Friends,
Tolls on the Tacoma Narrows Bridge affect residents on both sides of the bridge. The constant price of commuting across the Narrows is an added cost that Pierce County families shouldn’t have to endure. Senator Emily Randall and I have proposed legislation to pay off the bridge and remove tolls on the bridge (Senate Bill 5488 and House Bill 1602). This is the right move for our communities and I look forward to working with my House colleagues to get it passed. Senator Randall recently published a press release with more information.
