Dear Friends and Neighbors,
Now that the dust from the 2023 legislative session has settled, we can review some of the major legislation passed in Olympia this year. The Legislature took big steps to tackle homelessness, housing affordability, gun violence, and substance use. We also worked to ensure that reproductive rights are protected in Washington. In this special Session In Review GoodMinute, I’ll break down this year’s priority bills, review major budget investments, and discuss legislation that passed through the committee I chair, the Community Safety, Justice, & Reentry Committee.
