Friends and neighbors,
We made some major accomplishments during the 2024 legislative session. We focused on boosting support for our public schools, the urgent concern of a dramatic rise in deaths and injuries on our roadways, persistent increases in the cost of living and housing costs, and addressing the current crisis in behavioral health which includes challenges with mental illness and the escalating deaths from opiate poisoning and overdoses. In this week’s GoodMinute, I provide an update on what we were able to get done this legislative session.
