Zach proudly represents the 5th Legislative District, including Black Diamond, Enumclaw, Issaquah, Maple Valley, and parts of North Bend, Renton, Sammamish, Snoqualmie, and unincorporated King County. He was appointed to fill a vacant seat in the House of Representatives in June 2025.
A lifelong Issaquah resident, Zach also serves on the Issaquah City Council, the boards of Eastside Fire & Rescue and Friends of the Issaquah Salmon Hatchery, the WRIA 8 Salmon Recovery Council, and the Lake Sammamish Kokanee ILA Management Committee.
He previously worked as a legislative assistant in the House and holds undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Washington, including a Master of Public Administration from the Evans School of Public Policy & Governance.
