State Rep. Marcus Riccelli’s (D-Spokane) statement on the East Region moving to Phase 3 of the Roadmap to Recovery:
I am very heartened to see Gov. Inslee move Spokane and the East Region to Phase 3 of the Roadmap to Recovery on March 22. COVID-19 infections and hospitalizations are finally moving firmly in the right direction. I am proud of the sacrifices that Spokanites have made to bring this pandemic under control. Moving to Phase 3 is a positive step for economic recovery. It will provide economic relief for restaurants, gyms, and stores. It is important to not let our guard down and to continue taking precautionary measures like masking, social distancing and getting vaccinated when possible, but we are beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel. This move to Phase 3 is one more step toward a healthy community and building back our economy.
