A message from Lisa
It is the legislature’s paramount duty to provide education to every student in the state. So once again my legislative agenda will focus on students with complex needs that are currently being left behind. Our special ed funding shortfall is an issue we must address to ensure the resources and staff are available to meet the needs of each and every child! Working to improve these outcomes benefits all of Washington.
I am also continuing service as Vice Chair of the Capital Budget Committee. In this role, I will work to strengthen our communities throughout the state by helping our cities and counties update and repair their infrastructure. Additionally, my colleagues and I will advance opportunities to build more affordable housing to provide stability for working families and continue to partner with local governments to address critical infrastructure needs.

A message from Victoria
I am honored and thrilled to introduce myself as your newly elected State Representative for Washington’s 5th Legislative District. As an environmental scientist, former Issaquah City Councilmember and mother of two, I have dedicated my career to fostering sustainable communities and advocating for policies that enhance our quality of life.
As I step into this new role, my legislative priorities include:
- Affordable Housing: I am committed to increasing affordable housing options at every level across our state, while protecting the best of our communities and environment.
- Environmental Protection: Drawing from my scientific background, I will advocate for policies that reduce pollution and promote sustainable practices, ensuring a healthier planet for future generations.
- Education: As a mother of children in public schools, I understand the importance of equitable opportunities for all students. I will work tirelessly to ensure our schools provide an excellent education and equitable opportunities for all.
I am eager to collaborate with Lisa and our colleagues to address the pressing issues facing our state. Together, we can build a more sustainable, equitable, and prosperous future for all Washingtonians.
