🚨White River Bridge on SR 410 closed until further notice

On Monday of this week, the White River Bridge on State Route 410 between Buckley and Enumclaw was struck, causing extensive damage to the structure. As a result, it is closed while Washington State Department of Transportation engineers analyze the damage and determine the next steps.

Detour

A full closure is in place on both ends of the bridge, which means traffic, pedestrians and bicycles are not allowed. A signed detour is in place directing travelers around the closure using State Routes 164, 18, 167 and 410. Please allow for extra time as this detour can add up to 45 minutes of travel.

Moving Forward

As your 5th District representatives, we’ve been in contact with WSDOT to stress the importance of this connection for our region and continue to push for consistent communication with the impacted community. We’ll continue working with other officials, such as our 31st District colleagues, connecting with local leaders in Enumclaw and the county to share information and identify how best we can support this effort.

We should soon know more about the needed repairs, next steps, and how long the closure is expected to last. As the situation continues to unfold, we’ll keep you updated.

WSDOT provides a real-time travel map. Information is also available from the WSDOT mobile app and by signing up for WSDOT’s email updates.

Drive safe, and look for more updates soon!

Sincerely,

Rep. Zach Hall and Rep. Lisa Callan
