District Update: Session Wrap-Up Video + Join My Seatmates and Me for a Telephone Town Hall April 4.

Dear friends and neighbors,

This session saw a lot of work to find a workable transportation budget that is getting stretched thin due to cost increases. Ultimately, my fellow lawmakers and I did find compromises and the budget that passed is a bipartisan one. The biggest hurdle we had was with projects that increased substantially in price due to higher costs of materials and the shortage of construction laborers and contractors. In my latest video, I talk about my takeaways from the state transportation budget and my bill to retain more state troopers. You’ll also hear about the best way to reach me during the interim.

Join Us at a Telephone Town Hall!

Speaker Laurie Jinkins, Sen. Yasmin Trudeau, and I are hosting a telephone town hall from 5:30-6:30 p.m. on April 4. Details are in the graphic below. I look forward to taking your questions and providing you with more detail on what was accomplished during the 2024 legislative session.
