Why: The second in a series of conversations to foster dialogue around consumer data privacy and hear directly from your State Representative about steps being taken to protect data at the state level. This will also be an opportunity for constituents to share their opinions and concerns regarding data privacy prior to the start of the 2020 legislative session. What rules do you think should govern what data is collected about you and how it can be used? Representative Kloba is the primary sponsor of House Bill 1854, which would protect personal data and establish a set of consumer rights with regard to the processing of personal information.
