State Representatives Ruth Kagi and Cindy Ryu are jointly hosting a one-hour town hall-style conversation with their 32nd Legislative District constituents on March 19. The call begins at 6:15 p.m., and will go out to households across the district.
Participants who choose to stay on the line can simply listen to the discussion, or participate by asking a question. To ask the representatives a question, participants press *3 on their phone keypads.
The topic of the town hall is the 2013 legislative session currently underway in Olympia. Questions on any topic relating to issues before the legislature or of importance to the district, including education, health care, jobs and public safety will be addressed.
Households that do not automatically receive a phone call invite to participate can still join in the discussion by calling toll-free 1-877-229-8493, and entering ID code 18646#.
