Hey Team:
Earlier this month I was proud to host a town hall conversation with King County’s Department of Community Health Services. Over 100 people showed up to voice their support for a new behavioral health crisis cares center at the polyclinic location on Capitol Hill, and you can join them.
If you support neighborhood access to community care, write to CCCLevy@KingCounty.gov to let the county know why. Let them know that the 43rd Legislative District strongly supported the Crisis Cares Levy in 2023. Let them know that when everyday people don’t get access to the help they need, we all suffer. And let them know that putting a behavioral health crisis center in the densest residential neighborhood in the state is the right thing to do.
At my town hall, I was joined by comedian Brett Hamil and dozens of 43rd L.D. friends and neighbors. The event strengthened my resolve to keep fighting for our district during difficult times. As lawmakers begin to prepare for the 2026 Legislative Session, I’ll have much more to share soon about my priority bills, and how you can join in the struggle for economic justice and inclusivity in Washington State.
In Solidarity,
Rep. Scott
