Dear neighbors,
Our October 11 town hall is just around the corner – and the stakes have never been higher. The short session is coming fast, and we need every voice in the 43rd District to help shape the bold, people-powered policies that can truly transform our communities.
We’re already planning the bills we hope to introduce next session, including proposals that:
- Increase the state’s payroll tax on its largest corporations to fund low-income housing and childcare services.
- Make college free for thousands by ending big business surcharge exemptions in the Workforce Education Investment Act
- Fund the Wildfire Mitigation Account by repealing tax giveaways for data centers and digital banks.
But legislation isn’t a one-way street. The best ideas come from the people who live and work in our neighborhoods. That’s why this town hall is your chance to bring your questions, your experiences, and your own ideas for progressive bills we can push together in Olympia.
