Biography

Rep. Brandy Donaghy represents Washington’s 44th legislative district which includes the cities of Mill Creek and Snohomish. She serves as Vice Chair on the Transportation committee, and as a member of the Education Committee, Legislative Oral History Committee, and Consumer Protection and Business Committee. Brandy has been recently named to the Pandemic After Action Report Task Force.

A Navy veteran, Rep. Donaghy worked on aviation weapons and weapon systems on F/A-18 and A-6 aircraft. After her service, she received her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from UW-Bothell and has worked in real estate, IT, and other fields. 

Donaghy is a community educator, organizer and volunteer, serves on a number of local and regional Boards and committees and as a trustee at her church. She is involved in Emergency Preparedness training and is CERT certified.

She lives in unincorporated Snohomish County with her husband, their children, two dogs and a lizard.
