Twitter to pay $100,000 over campaign finance violations
Twitter is the latest social media giant to pay for violations of Washington state’s campaign finance disclosure rules. Police reform will be a top issue for the Legislature when it returns for the 2021 session in January. The decision was not a total loss for plaintiffs in a lawsuit challenging the administration’s decision to end the count early. They managed to get nearly two extra weeks of counting people as the case made its way through the courts. Continue reading at The Bellingham Herald.
